WAC Youth Bible Group

And he's only in Year 7!
When:  We meet on Sunday evenings, 5pm to 6.30pm weekly, in school term time.
Where: Most weeks we meet in the church hall at Warragul Anglican Church, 96 Victoria Street (the 'Dulcie Harris Center').
Once a month we go off-site for a fun and social time - that's a great week to invite friends who don't usually go to church.
What: We usually start with some games, then have something yum to eat... while we study the Bible together, and finish up with some prayer.  This year, we're going multi-media - we'll watch a video, or listen to something, to kick off our discussions.
Who: Anyone in Grade 5 to Year 12.  This year pretty much everyone is in Year 7 through to Year 9.

All wrapped up
Why:  Because there comes a time when you've got to work out what you believe for yourself, and how to live it.  We think the best place to do that is with a group of friends, and especially other people who believe, people you get to know well, so you can ask whatever questions you have, think about all sorts of issues, and have a good time while you're at it. We also think it's great to have a place you can bring your friends, so they can think about these things with you too.

Noojee Trestle Bridge walk BBQ!
More About Outings:  So far we've gone for a bush walk that finished with a BBQ; visited another church' youth service; had fish and chips in the park; eaten a backwards dinner - Mackers for dessert, dairy farm for mains, finishing at a house in town for nibblies; we went ten-pin bowling, and had a BBQ and Bonfire Night that ended up being grilled sausages and marshmellows toasted on the stove followed by a movie, at a leader's house (because the weather was horrible!).  We spent an afternoon at Moe Skate Park, and another at 'Bounce' in the city, and had an evening at State Youth Games, followed by a sleepover at the church.
